    If 2nd place is likely to be around the 90 point mark again this season for runners up, then Stoke are going to need 55 points from 20 games. Not even Fulham, as good as they were from this point last season, got close to that.

    They're only 8 points off the playoffs. That's well within reach.

    Possibly, but I doubt it. The squad looks good on paper, but thankfully football is played on grass. It certainly wouldn't be the first time a decent looking side finished mid table in the Championship. There's always the possibility that the next manager makes things worse as well :fingerscrossed:

    It can't go worse than under Rowett . They've got Brentford next, which at present is a gimme.
