They may have concerns about:

  • Lack of composure on the ball in all areas of the pitch leading to loss of possession, avoidable goals being conceded and a poor conversion rate.

Depends which game you watch. West Ham away would show that we still have a lot of work to do but Wolves at home shows we have players who are underrated by media and some of our own fans.

  • Relative skill level of current squad compared with the likes of 'smaller' teams such as Burnley, Bournemouth, Watford.

We're not competing with Bournemouth or Watford in terms of transfer fee or wages. Are Burnley really that far ahead of us? Look at the improvement our side has made since day one.
  • The 'Warnock' factor ... although we 'love' him for what he's done for us, will potential signings be impressed with his tactics, style of play etc?

  • The fact that large sums of money has already been spent on players whose involvement has been limited (Reid, Murphy, Tomlin, Madine)

Reid and Murphy are likely to make more and more of an impact whereas Madine and Tomlin are unlikely to return. What's that I see? a 75 million pound Man United striker on the bench whereas player who cost nothing starts in his place?
  • The perception that Cardiff City may not the best place to be if you want to further your career.

Etheridge has made a name here, Bennett and Morrison decided not to leave and were rewarded, Camarassa is now known to clubs in the top half of premier league table....

Solution:

New management team?

Now? West Brom tried that halfway through a season and got relegated with, in theory, a squad more capable than ours. Warnock won't be here forever but he's doing good work currently and this type of thread is premature and OTT.
