Positive: Still not in bottom 3

With Fulham 5 points behind us its looking like one from us, Newcastle, Southampton, Burnley and Palace. Much better than we were expecting in August

The only positive from yesterday was another clean sheet.

We didn’t lose yesterday. That was the main objective, as will be the case next week

Where do you see the wins coming from in our next 16 games?

Southampton will be safe, they had the "there's no sentiment in football approach" when they got a new manager.

It’s difficult to predict as so far we’ve beaten 2 current top-10 teams, another mid-tablish team and a couple of those around around us. So how do you pinpoint precisely games we’ll win by looking at the table and fixture list?

Well, Neil will have a chart on his wall, and if he fails to reach any of his points targets they will need to be found elsewhere. We are 16 points away from getting 35 points, with 16 games left to play, so it looks like we will need to beat a couple of decent teams, and perform away from home.

No we didnt, we gained a point on Fulham, Newcastle and Palace and maintained our position over Huddersfield. We also could have lost, if that useless excuse for a referee had stuck to his penalty decision.

Looking at it in the short term your right but if we don't get some fresh faces in by next Saturday we will be in the bottom 3 next weekend and from then until the end of the season will take some getting out of.

I think the chairman saying what he said was just about the only thing that was good about yesterday, despite him saying we already lost 2 we thought were done deals.
