Peter Mandelson and John Reid were members and others such as Alistair Darling and Alan Milburn were thought to have had links and several Union leaders including Bob Crow were also members. The former Communist leading light - Andrew Murray - was appointed as an advisor to the Labour Party by Jeremy Corbyn. There are probably several Marxist or former Marxist politicians who are not far removed from the Communist Party including the Labour Leader and his shadow Chancellor.
