Over the last couple of seasons, one thing we have been really good at is set pieces, specifically generating shots from a set pieces situation.
Last season in particular we posted some ridiculous numbers in this area.

Stumbled across this the other day, comparing shots for and against in total and just from set piece situations.

Theres an error in the set piece table, 2 of the teams are called palace, I'm pretty sure that the first palace should be us.

Assuming that is correct, we generate 4.6 shots from set pieces per 90 minutes, which I think is half what we did last season, but still the highest in the league! Especially impressive when you consider that we have so little possession and will spend a lot of the games defending.

On the down side, we allow 4.3 shots a game, from set pieces, which is one of the highest.
In terms of actual goals we have scored 6 and conceded 9.

Seems like it is still an area of strength for us, going forward, but not as much as it was. And we should perhaps do a bit more work in defending set pieces on the training pitch and we might actually start seeing a benefit .
