I'm driving to the Manchester area on Friday and getting the train via Carlisle on Saturday. Wrap up warm.

    Enjoy.
Will be watching from the comfort of my armchair.
Mind you I do miss my away days.

Going up in the car (**** knows why) for two nights, which will no doubt mark the furthest I've followed the city away from home.
If one of these new strikers are in by tomorrow I definitely would expect them to start, probably Sala seeing as he's had more regular football, but if someone is in tomorrow, then they have to be thrown straight into the fire in my opinion. Sounds like there's some injuries around camp so who knows what sort of team Neil puts out, my guess will be....

    Etheridge

    Peltier Manga Bamba Bennett

    Ralls Gunnar Arter

    Hoilett Sala/Niasse Murphy

If by some turn of events both Niasse and Sala arrive tomorrow (0% chance but still), then I'd start them both and see what carnage ensues.

If Warnock has to field a team of the current squad, we will lose 3-1

I mean the whole team looked jaded and clueless against Huddersfield.
One week on playing in a stadium with over 50,000 noisy Geordies 🤔

If we have a trio of Gunnarsson; Ralls and Peltier, we will really be up against it, their ball retention is shocking!

    Just Ralls and Peltier.

    Cardiff City team news:

Etheridge; Peltier, Manga, Bamba, Bennett; Ralls, Camarasa; Mendez-Laing, Paterson, Hoilett; Niasse.

    Is that 4 - 1 - 4 - 1 ?

4-2-3-1 according to the team announcement on Twitter.

    Presumably.

No centre back on the bench either.

Niasse will be a surprise to the Newcastle team - but probably even more of a surprise to ours. He was 'in the building' but didn't do even 5 minutes training with the team yesterday according to a few interviews I read. Warnock said he doesn't expect him to last more than 70 minutes - he hasn't played in months.

Cunningham cover for the whole defence.

Somebody just told me Artrr is suspended but I don't know if that's correct.

Happy with a draw with that team

Not sure why we stopped Connolly going out on loan if he can't even get on the bench for this match.

Definitely. Looks like we'll be completely overrun in the middle of the pitch.

No, he's served his suspension for five bookings and is a long way short of the ten bookings mark which would mean a further two match ban - he's on seven currently.

Yes , maybe we will bypass midfield. What's Warnock's back stop position.?

Presumably because he'll be needed as cover for the next 6 weeks at least now that Sean's out for a long spell

Horrible feeling that Rafa will be too clever for our Neil today.

Why isn't Shelvey playing for them? EDIT just read injured.
