Thread: Good crowd at the Liberty yesterday

Good crowd at the Liberty yesterday

    15000

Pains me to say it, but we’d have struggled to get more than 8k for it.

    Very surprising

Good crowd. They're unlikely to make the play-offs this year so a good cup run would be great.

That McBurnie is a handful and has good feet for a tall striker. I wouldn’t mind him here.

Just read that he’s only 22. 23 in the summer. Didn’t realise he was that young.

He’s down and around 6 ft, but didn’t seem that big when I saw him live when we played Barnsley.

Doesn’t seem quick or good in the air, but had a good touch and movement and gets in lots of good positions.

He hates us though, so can’t see him coming here

It says he’s 6:2 on several sites I checked

He’d come if we doubled his wages.

Maybe we could send Madine the other way in the summer. Two birds, one stone and all that.

    I believe you.

I don’t always believe the online stats mind.

Have to say though that he looked nowhere near that.

Used to meet loads of players coming out of the ground after games as we’d have a beer in the old Granstand whilst the traffic thinned out.

Remember meeting Darren Purse and I was miles taller than him and also as tall as Roger Johnson - and he was supposed to be 6ft 3. I wonder if they just ask the players and they give their own figures 😂

The one guy who really was huge mind was Matt Murray, mind you he was in a filthy mood after losing 4-0 and didn’t look keen for a chat or photo so we gave him a wide berth 😂

Think I read a comment about the NFL draft with players being described as having a fewer extra inches of height than they actually do You're ahead of the game doubting these online stats.

Reminds me of the likes of Stant and Steve Claridge.

Well he’s certainly going to have to change his tune from what he’s said publicly.

Things along the line of feeling dirty being sat in a seat at CCS when he watched a game last year and various other jibes aimed at us over the past year or so.

Just being a knob to curry favour with his current fellow knobs.

I don't buy that. Especially for a Scot. If we stay up and affer a decent wage, he'd be in a heartbeat.

He’s made more appearances at Bupa than the CCS
