Niasse run himself into the ground and I can understand taking him off but it all went to pot when he and Reid went off.
I don’t know why Reid was taken off though. He was very busy and causing them problems.
All in all a decent effort tonight but given the other results it’s maybe time to start preparing for the Championship next year.

So, so frustrating. Bamba a guaranteed row Z defender trying to play out of defence again & losing the ball again. Gunnar & Ralls killing the speed of the movement in midfield and negative substitutions.
Tonight (results wise) has been disastrous.

Despite losing and despite shit results all round I was really impressed with City tonight. For the first time this season they stopped treating the ball like a hot potato. They played really well. Just lacking composure in the final third though Niasse and Zohore both look capable of providing that. Also thought Ralls was superb tonight.
Taking Reid off was one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen just abysmal, how pato stayed on all game is just baffling and Peltier was he just given a free role? Manga was always going to struggle when his rb and rm can’t defend for shit which is laughable as they’re both supposed to be defenders, arsenal was there for the taking tonight but some shocking decision making from the players and Warnock let us down

To be fair, it's probably been the most difficult week of all their careers, some of them are not premier league quality but are maximising their efforts and others put in a huge performance only to be dead on their feet for final 10 minutes. It's the same problem we had coming into the window: we have a base of a good team but need a few additions to help out and instead this window has probably been more draining that helpful.
Don't be too harsh on them for today or next game. We need to kick back into gear though very quickly.
