I'm currently watching and enjoying City on a Hill. Similar to The Wire. Kevin Bacon is great in it.

Watched Ad Astra today, new Brad Pitt film. It's good, got Interstellar + Apocalypse Now vibes. I've got a bit of a boner for Pitt at the moment, he was fantastic in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

It's now on Sky Atlantic, could watch it on Amazon prime. I would imagine you would get it on Kodi if that's still about. There are a few apps you can get on the firestick, to watch filmsthink my mate uses cinema HD???? Also think you can get it via Showbox on android devices.

You just know Joaquin Phoenix will be fantastic in it.
Went to see Joker yesterday and was not disappointed.
Pheonix is such a good actor and put in a great performance.
Very dark, as you’d imagine and you can’t take your eyes off it.
Best “blockbuster” film I’ve seen in a long time that’s actually lived up to its hype.

It’s a quality movie though, best I’ve seen for ages. Bit dark and disturbing, a modern day taxi driver maybe

Arctic on Netflix. Very much my work you of film. Mads Mikkelsen is brilliant in his fight for survival in the Arctic after a plane crash. Beautifully filmed. Loved it. A strong 8/10

    I saw this last night.

Brilliant film based on the GCHQ whistleblower who revealed the US/UK plot to acquire a UN Security Council resolution for the 2003 invasion of Iraq - based on the false WMD claims and arm twisting of non-permanent members. Keira Knightly excellent.

Weird one uncut gems. Too short, music scores were terribly placed but I couldn't stop watching it. Really tense that last bit with the basketball match.

1,886 rare films can be viewed here: http://rarefilmm.com/films-index/

Enjoyed this one, an Alain Delon early 1960s subtitled French heist flick: http://rarefilmm.com/2018/10/melodie-en-sous-sol-1963/

I thought Sandler was brilliant in Uncut Gems and should have been up for an Oscar nomination for best male.

Seems such a shortage of decent films about. Just started ‘the mandalorian’ Star Wars series.
