Watch The Hate You Give to satisfy your gritty needs - I think you might enjoy it (although it is a little pastiche )
I tend to steer clear of many Hollywood films as they are they so are cliché-ridden, especially the mainstream pleb-fodder stuff. I give anything with Morgan Freeman, Tom Cruise et al a very wide berth. I am more into European films and TV series, especially Scandi-dramas. And if Sidse Babett Knudsen is in anything.....

Just seen this. It was pleasant and Birmat Kaur is gorgeous. It is a bit slow though but an enjoyable diversion so a 7/10.

Was looking forward to the new Ted Bundy film out next week called “Extremely wicked, shockingly evil and vile”.
However early reviews haven’t been too good.

The Professor and the Madman is a great film, preferred it to Green Book but has it's faults also.

The only thing good about this is the story (Even though its grim). For some reason the speaking in English and in their regional accents has really spoilt it for me. Will still watch the last episode when I go home tonight though.

Shame that spoiled it for you, but it is excellent tv. Well produced and well acted. Great cast.

Not sure if its been mentioned on here but I really enjoyed the series Barry.

Dark comedy about a hit man seeking a way out, moves to LA and fancies starting a new life as an actor. His handler and his own past, make this difficult.

Really good (funny), especially NoHo Hank , some parts I had to watch over and over again.

However, I wouldn’t watch it if you’re feeling down in the dumps.

No some scenes are a bit grim seeing what happens to the body

Outside shot! if you enjoyed Kill bill 1 (2 was utter garbage) then give Warrior a try. personally i like it much more than kill bill. Has depth in character and some TnA and great fight scenes.
