He's got something wrong with his hair. A four and a half year contract - that's surprising.

“A few weeks ago, I was made aware of some interest and it has all gone from there. I’m very happy and looking forward to getting started.

“Every game I play I give 100%, and I’ll be fighting hard to help our team. I’ve played against the manager and you can see he always wants to win. He is so passionate. It’s going to be great to work underneath him and hopefully he will push me on as a player.”

Not to put a downer on the signing but he was dreadful when I saw him play for Reading earlier this season.

    What are your thoughts Pearcey?

TBF a lot of the negative comments relate to him playing in midfield. There are enough positive comments about him playing RB to make me feel optimistic. Good to see some Youtube footage of him getting forward and playing forward passes instead of what we currently do at RB which is freeze and play it backwards.

Yep happy to oblige. First off he is a central midfielder and not really a fullback but can play there if necessary. He has plenty of energy but is a complete enigma. I have seen him dozens of times and can’t say if he is a good player or not. He is erratic. He can sweep a superb pass out to the flanks in one minute and then place a short pass straight to an opponent a minute later. He loses his cool at times.

I am very surprised you have signed him. This looks more like adapting to the Championship next season because I can’t see him making a difference to your survival chances.
