I'm surprised more attention hasn't been given to the Brazilian Mine Waste incident in Wales, especially as it is very similar to the Aberfan tragedy.

Aberfan had world wide exposure for weeks afterwards, yet the incident in Brazil seems to be very much forgotten already. No worldwide appeal for money to assist the familes who have lost children, fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, and are left homeless.

What does it matter, it's only a couple of 100 Brazilians!!

I have to question the lack of interest/motivation around this and similarly the Qatar slaves building infrastructures and stadia for the World Cup.

It seems like rogue company's like Vale and countries like Qatar can literally get away with murder.

Understandably we might regret our wrongdoings of the past, though some seem to wallow in it and beat ourselves up about it.
Yet those same people ignore the terrible wrongdoings of the present.
