I never mentioned Juventus, I was talking about the current Real Madrid golden era which ended tonight.

Perhaps that was the issue? One player being Mr Madrid, his performances drop and moves on, vacuum left where different personalities try to fill the hole with cliques and demanding fans all unhappy.

I think he’s nuts. That club is toxic. He’d be much better off at any other top european club. Real can’t provide the type of environment that will allow him to play his best football.

Bale is approaching 30 and his pace isn't what it used to be. He needs to leave Real in the summer and find a club that will accommodate him as a star player.

I think it's fair to say that his Welsh performances in more recent times haven't been what we've grown to expect. He's still a world class act but things seem a bit stale with him.

He definately needs a new challenge, and maybe he also needs to reinvent himself now that his pace isn't what it once was. His finishing is still pretty decent, so maybe he can become a goal-hanger, a bit like Ronaldo was/is.
