We will deserve to stay up if we get these 4 wins against teams around us! I sincerely hope we will stay up as we have the fan base to become an established Premier League team.

9 points. Who knows, maybe that will be enough to see us over the line. Think we need to hope for Brighton progressing in the cup, United in both cups and Palace to be safe by the time we play them (if we are still in with a shout)

    I hope I'm wrong, but 5 points:

    Chelsea (H) - 0
    Man City (A) - 0
    Burnley (A) - 0
    Liverpool (H) - 0
    Fulham (A) - 1
    Palace (H) - 3
    Man Utd (A) - 0
    Brighton (A) - 1

We really need an unexpected point or two against the top 6 clubs, then an away win against Burnley/Fulham/Brighton (to get 9 or 10 points)... we shall see.

    Chelsea (H) - 0
    Man City (A) - 0
    Burnley (A) - 1
    Liverpool (H) - 0
    Fulham (A) - 1
    Palace (H) - 3
    Man Utd (A) - 0
    Brighton (A) - 1

Will 6 points (34) be enough to stay up?

In the last 22 seasons 34 points would have guaranteed safety on 5 occasions.

Wouldn't it be very 'Cardiff City' to go down on goal difference after all the silly capitulations we have produced this season.

I believe we are better than both Burnley and Southampton as well as the two below us. We have just nine games to prove it!

If we have nine then our chances are good, unless the rest have nine too
