They could conceivably not win another game. Bit like us I suppose. A few teams potentially on the beach there mind which could work in their favour.

Wolves don't like us, so that's 3 points.

Other than that, looks more challenging than our fixtures.

They'll probably get something at Liverpool today.

I think that the Burnley v Cardiff game will be the game that seals it for one or the other.

    Southampton have an easier run-in.

Burnley owe us for the game earlier this season , they stole 3 points and need to pay them back to us !

It's a doddle, wish we had the same access to striker talent they have .

How can you say that? They have been competitive against all teams, unlike us. Not taking away that is a difficult fixture list. But they can grab points against anyone. Can we? 🤔

Do you not understand the word 'conceivably'?

    Prediction time:

Leicester (H) L. Leicester better away and playing for new boss, Burnley not so good at home.
    Wolves (H) D.
Bournemouth (A) L. Bournemouth tough to beat on the South Coast.
    Cardiff (H) Fck knows.
    Man City (A) L.
    Everton (A) L.
Arsenal (H) W. Arsenal guaranteed fifth, season over. Burnley need a win.

If they get little from their next two home games, they're in trouble. They had a great run, winning 5 and drawing 3 in the PL to move from deep trouble to some safety. It's now 3 defeats on the trot, though all to be expected.

If my predictions come true (please, God), then a win over them at Turf Moor means we'd need 4 more points for safety.

Twist it all on its head and look at our fixtures.

If we can win at Brighton, Fulham and Burnley, they'll need 6 points. If we can somehow get a win at home against Palace, they'll need 9.

One team always plummets at this time of the season. Last year it was Swansea City, who looked doomed at Christmas but put on a great run at the start of 2018 to climb clear. A few dropped points later and they were hauled back into danger and ended up being relegated with barely a whimper.

No. Explain it to me. Is it like fantasy?

I can see both Burnley and Southampton winning more of their games than us.

Then again, yesterday was encouraging. We just can’t afford to have another blip and will have to beat Palace and Fulham and pick up something from Burnley and Brighton. It’s pretty much that straightforward for us at this point.

Any chance we might get something from the chelsea gane at home?

If they get nothing from Leicester and wolves at home then massive pressure on them v us.

I've spoken to mystic meg ,she's telling me OGS is going to chuck us 3 points , after we beat Liverpool at home .

    It's in the leaves.

Well, that’s odd then because they’ve actually managed just two more points than us all season, including a smash and grab win against us when we dominated the game.

I was just pointing out that they could conceivably go on a bad run with that fixture list. Not sure why that would be controversial.

They play both of those before we play next.
Really could do with them NOT getting a win from those 2

Just noticed that too, when we beat Chelsea we can go above them then....

    Re: Burnley's remaining fixtures

That’s an easier run-in than ours. We have to beat them. We could also do with beating Fulham, Brighton and Palace. All 3 away and are massive games. Win those 4 and we’ll be OK. Big ask though.

Don't Burnley have a fixture against Chelsea away after they play us? (22nd)

Also, I thought Burnley play Man City at home not away?

    Re: Burnley's remaining fixtures

Don't forget Newcastle - we are 7 points behind them with a game in hand...although they do have a nice run in.

Hope Leicester beat them, that then makes them need to beat Soton & Brighton to achieve safety before the inevitable goal fest that the Liverpool game will be.
