When can we play Man City?

Assuming that they beat Schalke this evening and Swansea on Saturday.

WalesOnline thinks that we'll be playing Brighton on 2/3 April.

9/10 April and 16/17 April are the Champions League quarter-finals.

30 April/1 May and 7/8 May are the Champions League semi-finals.

Looks like the only option would be to play Man City on 23/24 April between the Liverpool and Fulham matches.

We cannot play Man City on Apr 24. They already scheduled to play Man Utd.

If they beat the jacks on the weekend I think our game due for Apr 6 will be brought forward to April 3.

Brighton can then play Chelsea that same day. And we MAY then play Brighton on Apr 24.

It will be the Wednesday (3rd or 24th) as we playing the preceding Sunday’s.

What is also in the mix is if Brighton win on the weekend in the cup their game v Spurs will need to be sorted out that’s due to be played on April 6th. They might consider that for the 24th because it’s a midweek Spurs won’t be playing in Europe. That’s assuming Spurs win their 1/4 final which they may assume will happen because if they wait until the final whistle on the 17th it will be too close to the 24th to mess things around again.

They may then apply for us to play Brighton on a European week night. The rule has been discontinued stopping Premier League games those nights I believe, in 2017.

PSG played a game on Tuesday so no reason we cant play on a champions league night.

So that opens up April 9th/10th or 16th/17th as possibles for the Brighton game. We will find out after the games this weekend.
