I can only assume that you are talking about Messi's goalscoring record for Argentina in competitive matches, but, according to this, you've still got it wrong.

    http://messivsronaldo.net/international-stats/

Only a small error, but for someone who, according to one of your admiring fans on here a couple of days ago, researches everything he posts "in depth", it doesn't look good does it.

Messi has been with the same girl since he was a youngster, so he doesn't get to put himself into those kinds of situations. I knew a girl who had a one-nighter with Ronnie, she worked in a health club. I'd say he puts it about quite a bit more.

It's 1-1 in tax evasion though.

Ronaldo's not bad for a converted winger.

    CR7 + CR2 = CR9

Add assists into that graphic and it wouldn't even be close

You do realise that Messi isn't a striker?

    Re: Messi

Based on last season English clubs have lost 24/28 of knockout ties against Spanish opposition

Messi definitely had the easier ride. He had the best midfield in the history of football playing behind him for most of his career.

You don't say? So neither of them are strikers? Wow, incredible story bro!

I do wish he would join a premier league team and shut everyone up

Linekar did a pool on Twitter yesterday and of 380k votes 62% say messi.

You think ronaldo didn’t have world class players around him?

Given the choice, I reckon everybody would choose to have the Barcelona midfield playing behind them.

Given the choice everybody would choose messi playing in front of them.

Well, this choice is not so clear cut

Clear cut in my mind, all depends how you want football to be played would you rather watch someone who can do everything or watch someone who just scores goals

I'd rather Kroos, Modric and Casemiro than Rakitic, Busquets and Paulinho and Messi still scored more.

For someone who has won the world cup, ballon D'or and Copa America you really haven't got a clue about football!

We would he move out of his comfort zone? He's worked all his life to create his comfort zone.

    Re: Messi

That's very reckless, 9 times out of 10 it hits the bar, he should have passed instead. I'd be having a word with him after the game if I was the manager.

Watched the Betis/Barcelona game last night, f*ck me Messi was different class, it was a joy to watch him.
