Yea we had still bought him, he would have just been sat in the stands unable to play. Of course he likely would have been properly registered prior to the window closing.

The fact he was unregistered is immaterial. You purchase a player before you are able to register him as Leicester found out earlier in the season when the player they bought could not be registered in time meaning he was left watching from the stand.
Is that necessarily right? The terms of the contracts our customers sign are not activated until they subsequently pay a deposit.
