He's very talented, but I'm not that surprised. He was 17 at the start of the season, and it's pretty rare for someone so young to break into an elite team (unless you're mbappe)
He's got about 900 first team minutes so far which is making good progress. I don't think the other teams in the big six will have played many players who were 17 at the start of the season

Sarri is a mug for not playing him, and surely Ampadu couldn't do any worse than their current back 4? If they play the youngsters now, they will be all the better for it. Why wait until they are 23 or 24, it doesn't make any sense.
