    Pubs pre-match on Sunday

I’m looking to be home in Cardiff for 1030am on Sunday and contemplating which pub to use before the match. I know that my usual haunt, The Lansdowne, opens at midday but does anyone know if any of the Cathedral Road pubs are opening earlier?

THE CANTON (small brains one on llandaff road) will be open about half 9.

Glasses as well, no plastic here (till the glasses run out) keep your glass close by

Good prices float my boat, they do sell good ales , shit food though , thankfully I remember times when one could use a glass on match days , before the loons weaponised them.

Glasses were being used a weapons in bars, pubs, gin houses and drinking dens long before the rise of the football hooligan. If men fight (specially in drink) they will use anything to hand to win the 'arguement'.
