Crystal Palace - relegated in their first four seasons in the Premiership/Premier League - 92/93, 94/95, 97/98 and 04/05. Top flight football didn't start in 1992 though. (Though I suppose the first one doesn't really count as they were in the old first division the previous season)

Nope. Its about the size of our club overall i think- top end of championship but not quite premier size.

Ok there may be a few clubs in the premier we could say we are bigger than- but without doubt there are many clubs in the championship and league 1 who are much bigger than us.

As long as we acknowledge that and cut our cloth accordingly. We could get bigger with a prolonged stay in the premier League, but not worth losing it all to try

Can’t beat 4 , but Watford finished bottom in their first two seasons 99/00 and 06/07. If we match that record we will have had quite a shite run-in!

We are at present the 11th best supported Premier League club and if we stayed in the Premiership our support would grow every year. Bigger than Wolves,Southampton,Palace etc and just below ex Champions Leicester, so we are not a small club, that’s just Warnock’s talking us down? We are the sixth biggest city in the League, bigger population than Newcastle and the Capital of Wales ffs
