Thread: Mike Dean ... why is he still employed in the PL?

Glad to see Dean being defended now in this thread - he's not great, but he's the one ref with the guts to award penalties fairly consistently for the all in wrestling that goes on whenever a free kick or corner comes into the area.

I'd like to see Gurnham Singh in the prem.

    You think?
Ross McCormack made the most of that I thought.

Anyone watching Norwich Sheff W game?
What a scandalous goal Sheff Wed scored. Fletcher scooped it with his hand into the net and it got awarded.
Looks like the PL isn’t the only league with incapable officials.

Feck me I’ve seen some shit refereeing performances over the course of this season but that one will live with me.
    Taylor maybe?

Was laughing at the bob bank straight after.

No. Williams barged into the back of him. Stupid and definitely a penalty.

No one has mentioned this ref, every time I have seen him he has been excellent, I hope he does not follow a lot of the refs down the road that they have followed, you hardly see him in a game which is the sign of a good ref, his name?

    Chris Kavanagh

The decision to not send Sheff Wed keeper was also laughable. Exactly the same thing happened in the Charlton Oxford game yesterday and the keeper saw red.

I don’t envy the jobs of the officials. Every decision is scrutinised beyond belief, however I wish they just sometimes take it upon themselves to apologise for a decision they get wrong or miss
