Better to lose 3-0 going gung ho than do what we just did

Over the season I can't fault the squad or staff really. But today was a chance we really didn't take and I feel the squad and coaching staff will have a lot of regrets that we didn't approach the match differently. Ultimately we seemed happy with a point, which I just didn't understand.

    Agreed.

We deserve to be relegated for bringing on Healey to replace Camarasa.

I was amazed you signed him. He was at best average for us in the Championship so there was no way he was ever going to be good enough in the PL

I get it was going to be a tough Jan after the Sala incident, but Bacuna on a 4(?) year deal is just embarrassing, I said at the time too.

It was as if at that moment we were preparing for the Championship

I assumed we had signed bacuna at rb cover. Not sure he has ever played there for us though. 4 years was weird whoever it is.

Smithies, Bamba, Arter, Ralls, Paterson, Zohore, Josh Murphy all missing from a squad which I'd say was mid table Championship in standard. My mood changed completely when I saw our subs bench especially and I can only assume that the last two players I named were injured, otherwise their absence makes no sense. However, there's no excuse I can think of for the failure to get the most likely player on it to get us a goal on until the match was virtually over - truly baffling.

He’s not good enough to start in the championship and yet he had 4 years remaining on his deal too. Crazy.

Giving deals out like that we’ll end up with Russell Slade in again to clear the decks!

Why is Bacuna being singled out? We needed to go for it and our forward players were lacking once more. No-one seems to know what the other is going to do next on the rare occasion we attack.

Bacuna was far from our worst performer today.

Camarasa was injured according to commentary on line

I'm feeling the same way. He just sets up not to concede and then hopes that we might snatch a goal from a set-piece.

As usual, commiserations to the valiant away fans travelling all that way to watch that lot. Seems like City could have won it in injury time according to the Radio London commentary. Too little, too late.

    Shots on target:
    Fulham 2, Cardiff 8.

If Josh Murphy and Zohore are injured, then every fit player in the first-team squad either started or was a substitute today.

Didn't see or hear the game stayed away from it on purpose.
Got back to the car, the reviews were so consistent, Cardiff played "for a draw" "with the handbrake on" "negatively", each pundit said the same, that City didn't start to play until Fulham scored.
