Thread: Reasons to be cheerful

    Reasons to be cheerful

Sorry if this is a bit premature but given how today has gone and relegation all but done, I thought I’d try to look on the bright side.

We can go into any game with a decent chance of winning the game

We won’t get thumped 5-0 at home (in theory)

If warnocks in charge he’ll be ****ed off if we lose rather than saying what can you do..

We now have strikers who can compete at the level

We haven’t over spent so we aren’t going bust. We also don’t ‘have’ to sell other than losing loanees (two gutting but niasse thank god) and Gunnar

We can look up rather down the table (in theory!)

I can stop buying programmes (10yr old wants prem ones)

Won’t HAVE to watch the away team bus turn up (same 10yr old)

Won’t have to watch Alan shearer on match of the day

We shouldn’t be last every time watching highlights

Wont have a scouse **** predicting us to lose every week

Less queues at the bar... less queues to get out

    South Wales derby
    Bristol derby

6 points off Leeds (presuming they bottle the play offs)

More games & a more competitive, interesting and honest league

    Have I missed any?

Slade is available if Warnock decides to retire.

Chris Sutton won't mention us all season.

Spare seats further back in the ground if it’s raining where I can stay dry

Honestly, it probably is for the best. Fair chance we would’ve been the whipping boys next year, a la Huddersfield.

It’s nice to be in the Premier now and again, bit of a novelty, but what’s actually better about it? Really can’t think of anything!

Never forget that from where we’ve come, the Championship is still a cracking level. If we can be a yo-yo team, I’d be chuffed with that.

Is that Internet radio service that broadcasts all Championship games live still around? I can't remember the name of it but Richard Shepherd used to commentate on City games. It meant I could listen to the games here in west Wales otherwise I will be stuck because I can only get Swansea games on Radio Wales down here.

23 games next season....probably. Next years Canton stand season ticket works out at £12 a game...cracking value!

The City official website still does match commentaries. It’s not Richard Shepherd any more and it’s the most biased commentary you’ll hear in your life, but it still happens every game, regardless of division
