Our recent history is defined by short term goals so haven't had the chance to develop off the pitch as much as a capital city club should have, we're now in a period of stability and some want to make sweeping changes again. Can you name one club that has successfully dramatically changed style of play in one summer? Plenty of work to be done and it's going to take two or more seasons to build on our season with a much bigger budget.

You are right of course, everything has a context. We were on our knees after the rebrand, Malky saga, Ole, Slade etc.

However it would be nice to some kind of strategy to have hope that our football is moving in the right direction at board level.

You can clearly see that Choo, Tan, Dalman are doing everything in their powers to foster a greater connection with the fan base.

Their work around the club is commendable but it can only take us so far.

Judging by the players we sign and how we sign them, we seem to be stumbling around in the dark when it comes to having a coherent transfer and scouting policy.

I would definitely like to see appoint a proper sporting director who can work above Warnock and establish some kind of systematic approach when it comes to recruitment.

The only issue I have is that Warnock has a very clear footballing approach and I dont how he could align this with a more 'progressive' approach.
