Ralls out, Gunnar and Victor both subbed last week. We're gonna be struggling for mf.

Could be Bacuna, Reid and er ... Peltier the way it's going.

    Re: Arter doubtful tomorrow

Probably won't see him in a City shirt again. I've enjoyed seeing him play.

Chance for a youngster? Sion Spence maybe or Lloyd Humphries?

I doubt we'll see any youngsters this season. Even if we lose tomorrow.

None if those 4 selected the team or formation that played Fulham.

Anyway, maybe well finally see Reid start a game.

Is it just me? Is Arter missing quite a lot? He's started 24 of our 36 League games so far, which for a tough tackling midfielder isn't a lot. He seems too be injured a lot. It's a shame because we do miss him. Mind you he is more common than the lesser spotted Bobby Reid.

The point is that all four would very likely have started if they were fit, as would Murphy if he had impressed in training. Cant blame the manager for all that.

They both picked up knocks against Fulham.

It's not great, is it? He's 29 and I'm not sure his body can still cope with the way that he plays. He always seems to cramp up at the end of games as well.

Of course you can. The manager bought the players and picks the team. If he bought the wrong players, it's his fault. If he picks the wrong team, it's his fault. It's called responsibility. Own it.

We still had a side good enough to beat Fulham, that's the point.

When you need to win a game it is not acceptable to completely drop a winger you paid 11m for and not have a viable backup on the bench over him.

He’s overrated by many of our fans, runs around a lot but no end product, can’t score goals!

We do seem to have a hell of a lot of players who are out with injuries for a long time. Training regime? Lack of fitness? Poor physio/ recovery plans?

I remember the same things being said last season as well.

A lot of our fans seem to love players who run around a lot. They will be quick to tell you that such players do a lot of the unseen work.

I agree with you, very little end product from Arter. When was the last time you said to yourself.. "That was clever play just then by Arter"? Same could be said of both Ralls and Gunnarsson - there's a trio there who lack football intelligence.

Gunnarsson doubtful as well. We're getting down to the bare bones.

Injuries have hit us at the worst possible time

    Re: Arter doubtful tomorrow

We've been unlucky with injuries, lost lots in important areas.

I think as much as Arter has been an improvement in what we have our weakest part has been protecting the defense. When the midfielders are just there to do that they have made it to easy to go through the middle

Yes, because the only reason today's MOTM Bobby Reid is playing is because that lot are injured.
