The cleanliness of cowboys in Hollywood films always amused me. They must have stunk to high heaven and the ladies of the night must have been less than perfectly laundered....

I'm definitely not one for film musicals, but I'll always find time to sit through Calamity Jane when it's on.

    RIP

She was really fit in her prime but she had a terrible choice of husbands.
Her first beat her up, the second left her, and the third spent her millions and left her broke. She married a fourth time but they separated after about 5 years.
She was offered the Mrs. Robinson role in The Graduate but turned it down because it didn't fit the public image of her.

What a brilliant lady. A great singer, dancer, and actress. Just a real shame regarding her terrible choice of husbands
    RIP Doris
