I hate to think of the casting-couch scenarios he must have endured to have had such a long and lucrative career.

That is the only rational explanation for his “fame”.

I think Michael Gove could do a better stand up routine.

    Re: Owen Money

He sounds a bit forced when I’ve heard him on the radio with no discernible talent.

    Re: Owen Money

Ask a few people at BBC Radio Wales about him, you'll soon find out.

He used to do the circuits in South Wales in the 70s and I know people who used to work some of the clubs. The punters would finish off his punchlines for him. Not a nice man at all, a huge star in his imagination and claims he brushed shoulders with some of the greats like McCartney and Lennon and Jagger. None of them remember him at all

Speak as I find I enjoy his radio shows, if he doesn't support Cardiff then up to him.

Radio Wales employs Owen Money and Chris "Special" Needs. They must use the same jobs agency as Talksport.

Same here, listen both days and enjoy the music especially on Sunday.

He says he wants all welsh teams to win, it’s an age thing.

Wish he’d stop banging on about Liverpool though.

I don't even know who he is or which TV programme he presents although with a name like 'Owen Money' i'd say that he sounds like a bit of a throwback, that isn't his real name, right?

    Hes on the Radio.

He has a really cheesy show, where people in the 70s send him messages and he comes up with jokes from the arc about the messages.

A sort of Max Boyce without the songs.

Made his name by stealing another REAL Comedians act, whose name was Mick Miller.

Also called himself Gerry Braden at one time when he was lead singer with the Bystanders. In the 1970's he kept a pub in Dowlais just around the corner from where I lived. I spent a few Summer nights sat in my back garden listening to him murdering 60's pop songs.
