    well done Cardiff Met who now join Barry Town in the europa cup preliminary stages

    also cardiff uni futsal through to the european futsal champions league it's been a decent year for the south wales clubs this season

    That money may have weighed on a few pelanty takers minds, imagine before the walk up to take yours one of the boys saying ‘Go on lad there’s a quarter of a million Euros riding on your kick’ 😱 they aren’t hardened pros after all, only a few steps up from parks players really.

    Are the uni players actually at the uni doing degrees? Rather than part-timers like Bala?

    It said one of their players was with city academy from 8 to 20!

    That was Dylan Rees who took Met's first succesful penalty, centre back Joel Edwards previously captained Hereford United including in the FA Vase final at Wembley and Eliot Evans has had trials with league clubs.
    They're all students but play or have played at a much higher standard than parks football (still some shockingly nervous penalties though).
