Stick a brick through the window and nick all his cds.
It will be a good reason why the alarm keeps going off.
Keep doing it for a few months i guarantee the alarm will stop going off.

I’m going to invade this thread a little and ask for my own advice, a neighbour of ours guy in his 30s called my wife a stupid c**t for the way she parked yesterday while I was in work, I’ve banged the door 3 times to no avail, his car is in the street; he’s home.
She’s telling me to let it go, but my blood is still boiling..

This is a more difficult one. Using that epithet to your wife just isn't on - and it's understandable that you want to collar him. You could be artful and drop a message through the door saying that he would be better off agreeing to see you a.s.a.p. because you will catch up with him eventually and the matter won't go away. If he takes the coward's route and ignores your message he will pay for it with constant worry whilst skulking in and out of his house every day and will still get his come-uppance in due course as well. Sometimes the slow-burner method can have its pleasures too.

Not saying that his language is acceptable but how did she park? If it looked more like she had crashed then perhaps you should cut your loses and let it go.

if you have a major altercation with a neighbour I believe you have to declare it when selling house - http://www.problemneighbours.co.uk/w...n-selling.html

Its true that the env health have to witness the issue personally. They have to prove a statutory nuisance and will have to back that up in court. To do that it must be in their own professional opinion that it is a bad enough problem, not from another party. Frustrating I know but thats the law

If you want to hear an intruder you should buy an alarm.
