One manager that can't take over from Neil ...

Lee Johnson has committed his future to Bristol City by signing a new four-year contract.

Johnson’s new deal will bring an end to speculation linking him with a move away from Ashton Gate this summer.

For a minute there, I actually started to feel sorry for the Robins

I know it not fashionable to praise people we dont like, however I'd like to say he's done well at Bristol , produced some good footy , and talent , some of which sold at a good profit.

Would it be fair to say he's a very good coach but not necessarily a good manager? Almost the opposite of Warnock.

Is there a case to be made for Michael Flynn to replace Neil?

In football when has an existing contract prevented anyone moving from anywhere to anywhere if the right money is waved under the right noses. His existing contract is more likely to act as a lure than a deterrent.

    Good point.
Remember a year or so ago after taking a few scalps in the cup they were courting him in the media.
Perhaps they are hoping someone takes the bait. Sky coming in for his expert analysis?
Hope he stays there for some time.

Jursset will be either delighted or stop going, depending on how they did in their last match.

I was enjoying the dying embers of a nice bank holiday weekend - and then you mention him.
