    FNT - Tunes

theme this week - morrissey and/or cover tunes or songs with numbers or age just to broaden the spectrum for those who don't like the pope of mope

so the Mozfather turned 60 this week so it's only fair he gets some adulaton from me at least. don't seem to be getting much in the mainstream these days

to kick us off from a concert i went to almost to this very day in Manchester back in 2004 . was right in the middle of the mosh pit for this one

112 moorland road, Friday evening, the Tube, er indoors at Leo's doing the weekly shop this comes on, foot starts tapping volume gets increased to 11, next door neighbour banging the wall to turn it down, Saturday Morning I'm in City road getting tickets for their 1986 Milton Sunday Keynes gig, the gig was the hand of god day, the musical journey begins, Munich, Prague, Madrid, Berlin and 30+ UK gigs, it's a simple song to play (guitar), the D to the harmonic gets the hair on the back alive. I never saw the song played live after the 86 tour with this intensity, became watered down with computers taking over.

I am not a huge fan but the mans voice is good no question. I was listening to the radio the other day and his cover of a great song from 1969 came on, I did a double take as it was good, although I still prefer Marilyn McCoo, fabulous singer and gorgeous too, you compare. I watched This England recently, a troubled young man
