    They need to IMO, if they go with JC it'll be 4 more years of opposition, the press will see to that!! I don't see a shining star in waiting however. Additionally, when did Labour last have a woman leader ? I'll not goggle but cannot think of anyone.

    They had a few chances to push the women forward some very capable ladies have served Labour well . Having been to some of the events , unfortunately they are as "old boy" as the Tories.

    It's a pity that Vince Cable is stepping down due to old age. He knocks spots off May and Corbyn on the gravitas stakes.

    I can't agree with that assessment of JC if you are referring to his gravitas, or lack of it.

    Leave JC alone he' s propping up the Tory government single handed, and that's quite an achievement in this day and age of useless government 🤣

    May is inept, dogmatic and unable to engage in consensus politics but Corbyn has failed to make any purchase due to his own ambiguity and all round nebulousness. No wonder that both of the main political parties were abandoned by the electorate last week.

    Alastair Campbell

    Usual suspects thought it went by unnoticed sshhhhhh
    and Equality watchdog launches anti-Semitism probe into Jezzie Dustbins mob!!!

    In other news, about 3000 Tories fancy their top job

    Who's in the biggest pile of shite ?, both main parties seemingly doing their best to out scandal each other at the moment.

    October election with new leaders of both main parties ?

    I still think the Brexit Party vote was a protest vote and will go the way of most, in that at an election, party loyalists will
    return to their base.

    Tories never held the lead for long, Peter Willsman takes labour ahead of the Tories in the political party scum stakes.
