    It's interesting to think that the three-dimensional aspect makes it appear like it's a representation from the air but it actually having been created purely by imagination in that respect.

    If that’s from 1610, can you explain why Greyfriers (to the right of the castle as you look at the map), is still standing !

    Shirley Henry Vlll destroyed it 70/80 years earlier ?

    It isn't a photo and anyway the remains were still standing. (Some until about 1960-70)

    It became a stately home I think after the monks were booted out

    It was destroyed by Henry viii then rebuilt as a house, so its the house that's shown on the map.

    Ha ha. Nope. He lost my attention at "As I stated". I was just trying to be polite.

    I went to Pipes Brewery just off Kings Road recently. That was very cool. The whole area seems really nice these days. Living overseas, it is great to see what a superb city Cardiff has become. I was expecting a tent city full of homeless people and neo nazis but although a little bit downmarket, even Queen Street looked fine to me, the bloke preaching brexit was free of milkshake and the Hayes caff breakfast roll was ****ing superb.
