The "High Street" experience (part 2)

    Greggs the bakers! !

Got to be a true great British institution in our High Streets.

Unlike, many 'big name' stores & banks that are withdrawing from our towns & cities, Greggs opens up in ghost towns with stylish outlets.

Fair play to this Company for doing their bit in trying to keep our High Streets alive.

They ran Ferraris (I think that was their name) out of pontypridd.
    Destroyed the traditional independent bakery

Greggs are purveyors of heart attack grub. I have it on good authority they bake very little. Most of their stuff they purchase frozen from suppliers that they heat up.

The certainly cook the bacon for those lush bacon rolls of a morning. seen the rashers going in and coming out. Best value around, one of those and a cuppa, specially on a cold wet morning on the way to work

Good quality grub for a very fair price.
Will pay a lot less tax than the same number of independents.
So in a way killing the high street in my opinion from the inside but is an anchor store for other shops.

Also. I’m 29 and I still haven’t ever had a sausage and bean melt.

They’re the same price as a steak bake and I can’t risk deviating from what I know
