So basically, it’s clubs who can afford another big wage on a mate of someone in the know.

Again, if you were a manager, would you want someone dictating to you ????

Hardly? Like I said, most clubs in Europe use one. Norwich have one as well if you want to look closer to our level.

They don’t dictate managers, they work with them on transfers and various other aspects of the club. Dalman is essentially our answer to that except he appears to lack the football knowledge that other clubs have.

If I were a manager and refused to work under one I’d be stuck managing Newport county!
