Why are we not given an option to opt out of cookies on this site?

The General Data Protection Regulation means that you will have to revise your cookie policy, so that it is in accordance with the regulations. The GDPR and the EU ePrivacy Directive require prior, informed consent of your site users, and the GDPR requires you to document each consent.

    Re: Cookies

Cookies are a PEC regs (and at some point ePrivacy) requirement, not GDPR. Just thank god this site doesn't have those god awful popups to be honest. I do get a 'privacy settings' option on my view though and everything you need is in there.

I was worried about putting on a couple of pounds so went on the weight watchers site. First question they asked me was "do you accept cookies." I thought you devious bastards, so I haven't gone back on there again since.

This site is soooo much better than the dreadful WOL Trinity Mirror Group its pop ups and surveys grabs are just dreadful.

I don't get it on any browser. There are a shit load of cookies though, most are collecting data.

No need to have a chip on your shoulder about it.

    Re: Cookies

I get asked to accept cookies every time I use the site, but my browser doesn’t track or store anything.
