Oooops Imam ducks under BBC rradyr

He raised a good question about language and responsibilities ,ironic .

    https://www.theguardian.com/politics...n-islamophobia

In his role should he also be LOOK INWARDLY and be responsible for his own language and behavior ,never mind bonkers Boris .

Abdullah Patel, an imam and deputy head teacher

In response to criticism about choosing a solicitor who had worked for the Labour Party as a guest on the debate programme, the BBC said: "Last night's questioners held a range of political views and we did not specify these views nor their backgrounds although some chose to do so themselves.

"The last questioner on the debate is a solicitor who was seconded by his law firm to the Labour Party in the past, rather than being a Labour 'staffer'. He is a Labour supporter and once stood as a councillor."

The BBC did their best to set Boris up last night, seeing the voting today, they failed spectacularly, before this leadership campaign the Tory leader would be of no interest to me, watching and listening to the BBC this week I hope Boris walks it and gives a big fat FU to the BBC, this organisation is publicly funded and should show no political bias, their beyond 60 days effort each evening is just a mouthpiece for the elite cabal, IMO, hourly paid and unemployed people are just simple and plainly phucked off with the establishment and will vote against it given the opportunity, it's the policies that should be challenged, challenged and challenged again and not the individuals. I thought Boris was poor last might and lived up to his buffoon image but he seems to have gone even further ahead in their race, he must have said something to impress, I just missed it!!, Sajid seemed to offer the better balance to me over the course of the very poor debate.

The BBC did their best to set Boris up last night
May I ask how they did that? He has avoided, rightly or wrongly, the wider public and media up until this point so the BBC asked a range of questions with many of them based on the words he has previously used or policies he's half announced.

hourly paid and unemployed people are just simple and plainly phucked off with the establishment and will vote against it given the opportunity
We live in a bizarre world where people who are able to take a photo in front of a golden plated lift are considered anti-establishment. Or those who can waste £320,000 on a tool that could never be used in the UK but vote consistently against benefit increases for the poorest in society are considered a friend of the unemployed.

Talked to a Tory MP last night who was backing Johnson
"Do you think he'd be any good as PM"
    "No"
"What on earth will he do about Brexit"?
    "No one knows"
"Why do you want him, then?"
"He's the best hope we've got"
"By 'we" you don't mean Britain do you?"
    "No the party, of course"

The reason Boris has gone further ahead in the leadership race is down to the sort of thinking in that tweet and a hope on the part of many for a post in a Johnson cabinet - for example, the notion that Nick Hancock really thinks Boris Johnson is the best of the remaining candidates is laughable given the way he framed his leadership campaign.

Well done for posting that tweet - there, in a short exchange of words, you see the sort of thinking which is responsible for bringing this country to it's knees and establishing us as an international laughing stock.

The bash the BBC brigade, which it seems to me has equal numbers on the political left and right, can go on as much as they like, but they are, hopelessly, missing the real target - politicians on all sides who have long since given up on the notion which made many of them seek election in the first place, to serve the public good.

The BBC made Boris, he has them to thank more than anyone else for him getting to this position. I wish their "no political bias" had included not giving Boris, Rees-Mogg and especially Nigel so much airtime in the past decade or so, compared to 99% of our other politicians.

You seem to be overlooking the "while foreign secretary" bit.

"dont you think whoever had referenced the "turd " comment ,woudl have been edited ?? "

    Don't understand this.

On the first line, when I said "the BBC made him" I'm obviously talking about years ago when he first became known. Not last week's TV.

You call it a conspiracy I would call it accountable.

He’s going for the highest profile job in the land, time and time again he’s been exposed as being a deeply ammoral liar who according to everyone he’s worked with who knows him says he’s totally unsuited for this job.

Max Hastings nailed him to a tee. Yet you seem to come out with the other people have done it.

That’s not the point though is it? This is a man who is very close to being PM and it’s important to hold him to account.

We’re a laughing stock on the world stage at the moment and a lot of that comes from
    Boris Johnson.

i'm sure your right just have a difference on this matter , however i'm not a BBC hater .

What we can all agree on Is a clown ( but he is topping a very big clown list over all the parties )

I am confused though on the matter of about right wing press bias ,just look at the press headlines they more anti Boris than honour Boris ,they certainty not showing any loyalty as they hunt him down for a bad headline

Max Hastings ( that Max Hastings editor of right wing Telegraph ) for so many years ,nailed him to a tee. Yet you seem to come out with the other people have done it.

I’m not a BBC hater either. I like the BBC and it seems that if both sides of the debate are calling them biased they may be getting it more right than wrong.

Obviously there are many glaring mistakes but any organisation that provides coverage of Glastonbury like it is is alright with me :-D

I've been listening to Marillion(Fish era) since about 10.30 this morning, he was writing about all the social injustice in the 80 as were many of the period, it's the hatred, violence, abuse of women that's been introduced by these hipster individuals, is anyone shocked at how this gang culture has evolved. London has always had its beauties but it's an epidemic now with young teenagers at the forefront, Glastonbury are irresponsible for giving the stage to these hate filled (I refuse to use the word artists) and the BBC are complicit for airing them. The so called music is shite (as are the likes of Marillion to many) but that's just opinion, the hatred that accompanies this genre surely cannot be disputed.?
