Our Championship opponents this season - head to head stats

More mindnumbingly boring guff from me again. I've been looking at our head to head results against this season's Championship teams taking into account only games played in the Championship against them since we won promotion in 2003.

Team played the most: Derby County (26 times)
Team played the least: Luton Town (4 times)
Top 5 points per game averages: Huddersfield (2.5), Leeds (2.15), Forest (2.14), Barnsley (2.06), Bristol City (2)
Lowest points per game averages: QPR, Charlton, Fulham, West Brom, Wigan (1 point per game)
5 favourite sides to score against: Brentford, Luton, Huddersfield, Bristol City, Blackburn.
5 most difficult sides to score against: Hull, Middlesbrough, Millwall, QPR, Wigan.

    Home matches:

Top 5 sides in terms of winning points against: Huddersfield, Bristol City, Blackburn, Brentford, Forest.
Hardest 5 sides to win points against: QPR, Millwall, Fulham, West Brom, Wigan (in addition, West Brom are the only team we face this season that we have not beaten at home in the Championship since 2003). In addition, those 5 have conceded less goals against us on average in Cardiff.

    Away matches:

5 favourite grounds in terms of winning points: Leeds, Barnsley, Forest, Huddersfield, Stoke.
5 bogey grounds: Birmingham, Fulham, Preston, QPR, Charlton.
3 grounds at which we haven't won in the Championship since 2003: Luton, Fulham, Charlton.
Worst 5 grounds for conceding: Preston, Charlton, Hull, Derby, Swansea.
Teams we have yet to lose to on our travels: Luton, Blackburn, Huddersfield.

    Others:
Millwall - Cardiff games have finished in a draw 10 times in the last 16.
Cardiff - West Brom has finished in 4 successive draws.
Huddersfield and Blackburn haven't beaten us. We have chalked up a win in the Championship against every other side.
QPR have won more matches against us than any other team in the division since 2003, winning 10 out of 20.
We have scored 3 goals in 8 games against Wigan. They also knocked us out of the FA cup when we were in the Premier League in 2013/14.
We have won 14 out of 22 games against Forest.

Here's a table of matches against the rest of the current Championship from 2003:

    Nottingham Forest 22 14 5 3 30 15 47

I always dread the Preston games. they always seem to get us even when the stats say we should walk it.
another thing is when you say QPR have beaten us the most, who was manager for some of those games????

Ian Holloway 4 times, John Gregory twice (both Holloway and Gregory did the double over us), Neil Warnock, Jim Magilton and two with a previous Cardiff City connection, Gareth Ainsworth (who was caretaker after former Jack Paulo Sousa was sacked) and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

Thnking about seasonal doubles, Charlton, Fulham, Luton, Preston, Swansea and West Brom are the only sides we haven't done the double over at this level since 2003. We've managed 6 against Leeds, 5 against Forest and 3 against the Wurzels.

Reading have managed more doubles over us than any other side (3). Hull, Middlesbrough, Preston and QPR have managed 2. 12 sides have yet to complete a double over us during the timeframe mentioned

Points per game played is probably more representative?

I may have this wrong but doesn't that say that if every game were against Leeds and Forest we'd be runaway champions?
