Porn degrades women , at least the stuff I have watched does

When we're not watching it in the winter, 'er indoors likes to play a video of a crackling fire all day on our telly because she thinks it's cosy. I go around switching it off when she's having a bath or pottering around upstairs etc. Thinks we're made of money like.

Thumbs up Re: My TV is an alba , it cost me 99 quid

Joined long while ago but my first post.

My TV was a Samsung 55" flat screen - top of the range - paid 1,460 GBP (no pound sign on my Yankee keyboard).

Lasted 14 months and went tits up.

Contacted Samsung as guarantee was 12 months but paying top dollar thought 14 months was a bit rich.

Samsung not interested at first - flatly denied responsibility as out of 12 month guarantee. I pushed them and they eventually agreed to pay either the part or labour.

Took it 45 miles to samsung repairer - took 3 weeks to repair - part was 250 GBP and labour was 250 GBP - paid the 500 GBP total and got receipt for the labour (so now im in for 1,710 GBP, so I thought).

As instructed contacted Samsung to say that I paid the 500 GBP and they owe me back 250 GBP for part.

cheeky bastards, said that they would never agree to that and offered me a microwave, phone or other product up to 250 GBP value ? FFS

Did eventually get my 250 GBP back but only after threatening to stand outside there slough HQ with my tele in protest.

As you can guess, NO Samsung products for me ever again.

Bought a panasonic 60" flat screen and still going strong after 8 years of service. (5 year warranty from John Lewis)

Hope I have not put the BOK on my tele now !!!!

Sludge, I'm not interested in where you found your latest cross dressing transvestite from, and how much you paid for his "services". What I am interested in, is what metal band(s) i should avoid listening to? Seriously though, welcome back!

Great to see you post, hope you are doing well, that being said, you have always been a cheapskate buying 10 bob goods, if I hired a £5.50 an hour cash in hand painter you would call me out for it

Wrong. Sludge has a dish the size of the space station in his garden for picking up alternative channels. His Alba comfortably outperforms anyone else's box.
