Why? Because they don't blindly follow someone and think every single thing they do is good?

If it was to do with tax, the charges would be laid by HMRC, and they always have first bite of the cherry as it's government money. I'd expect the Financial Conduct Authority to deal with it if it was general financial shenanigans. Insolvency Service deal with bankruptcy issues, but the report only talks about the charges for about 3 small paragraphs, then bulks up on previous behaviour, so we can only guess.

HMRC haven’t had priority over debts since 2003.
McKay’s conduct which led to his bankruptcy restrictions being extended until the Summer of 2023 included huge gambling debts being run up plus attempts to put substantial assets outside the reach of his creditors.
The Insolvency Service are now looking at possible further breaches including being involved in the management of at least one company whilst under a Bankruptcy Restriction Undertaking

This doesn't surprise me. Lots of people sign over assets just before going bankrupt, but get caught as bodies like HMRC etc are no mugs and know how to dig and find deliberate attempts to hide assets.

Good, juts the other one to get rid of now. Neither made an impression with City, nor on they're loan spells last season. Well maybe the one did for Chesterfield to actually sign him, but National League is a good starting point for his career,

Well that seems to be juist his own business nothing to do with his finger in football agent pies whilst disqualified. There soesn't seem to be any connection to us particularly.

But isn't it always the way? you come to peoples attention through being less than honest and everyone starts looking at you.

His son has a limited company in his name and MM’s wife’s name that trades as a football agency. This is in addition to another agency company that was wound up by HMRC through the Scottish courts a couple of years ago.
Perhaps involvement in the management of these businesses is part of what is being looked into further?
