In fairness, I think Tomlin did have a house down here. It's a similar situation to NML and Arter (and probably others). NML lives in Birmingham but I assume he has a place down here, and Arter stayed in the Vale.
He's clearly in the best shape of his life, if he's mentally in a good place as well this could be like a big new signing for us
Agreed move to Cardiff he has enough money to buy umpteen houses and when he moves he can sell up at a profit, a nice little investment. If he s genuine he needs to commit himself!

Yeah, it isn't an unusual situation for a professional footballer. Aaron Ramsey lived in South Wales and traveled to training at Arsenal by helicopter.
IIRC, he drove backwards and forwards every day.
It's a fair old team, if we fill those gaps correctly, we could be a real unit!!!
Driving is tiring, and professional footballers should keep the travelling to an abosolute minimum, for peak performance!

I’m all for it, if he’s up for it he could well be the type that we’re crying out for. Admittedly he hasn’t covered himself in glory with us but still showed the odd delightful touch. Warnock thrives on the lost cause type of player, sort this one out Neil and we’ve got a player on our hands👍
with 3 games in 8 days most weeks we need a strong squad with options and a fit Tomlin could be what we need
