    Footballs gone mad

Joao Felix, one good season in Portugal and he's gone to Atletico for 120m, it's outrageous. De Ligt could possibly be earning 15m euros a year at Juventus and Harry Maguire might end up at United for 90m (more than VVD), which would put him in the top 10 most expensive transfers ever.

That Neymar transfer kicked everything off and unless revenue starts to decline it's going to continue being ridiculous. 100m transfers seemed crazy a few years ago, now there's been 5 in the space of 2 years, it's really killing my love for the game

best thing that could happen is a euro league...they can all feck off to that and we can get on with business as usual

It’s been going this way for a number of years. The transfer fees and wages are frankly ridiculous. No one is worth the money some of these players earn, I know it can be justified in various ways but the sums are obscene. Even worse are the disgusting fees these leeches they call agents command.

30 million up front. Then installments. Signed a 7 year contract. They will get their money back, and then some..

Visited Juventus last week. They also know what they are doing. Talk about a well run club! And that stadium is something else.

Maquire? Will be sold for 60 million tops. Fair price for an England center back.. In 2019.

    Don’t see the fuzz..

Not true! The clubs make their money back. Even the Community makes money of it.

How many people visit Cardiff every year? 10? 20 million? Imaging having a football club interesting beyond Pontypridd.

    Leicester already rejected £60m.

Anything Juve have done with their stadium that isn't in stadiums over here. Spurs new ground for example?
Isn't the Juve stadium only 7k capacity more than CCS?

Yes. It is right up there technologically. It’s is so state of the art it’s funny. With its own museum. It’s constructed very intimate. With high end infrastructure to the city, airport and train stations. Built in shopping mall with shops making the club money. Yes, it’s only slightly bigger. Think it has capacity of 41000. Feels much bigger than CCS becouse of the intimacy. And of course you have to pay out of your arse to get in. They have linked so many streams of income. And they gambled a bit to do it, didn’t they?

65 then. No way there will be a bid race to sign him. And there are rumors he wants out, no?
