    Dear Neil: Solomon Asante please

17 matches = 25 goals plus assists and he's a winger. And probably very cheap too.

He 5'2" so he won't get in an NW team.

I'm not sure about a work permit either. I'd just like to get optimistic about a new player for once.

Hoilett? Bennett? They’re not exactly basketball players

No, but they are 5'8" and 5'10" respectively.

Ghana are currently ranked 50 in the FIFA rankings. So a chance he would get a permit.
What kind of player is he?

28 and in lower tier of US football. Be like taking a gamble on a lower league UK player

True but every signing is a gamble, cf. Tomlin, Bogle, Madine. This wouldn't be that risky probably get him for $100k.

Also the same lower tier of US football that the two teams City just failed to score a goal in open play against are in.

You’re not seriously claiming those games were anything more than fitness workouts are you?

I watched the New Mexico game in its entirety. We were playing rolling subs ffs. The standard of opposition was at best National League.

I’m not saying this guy might not be a late blooming gem but at 28 he’d better start games if we signed him, otherwise it’d jist be a waste of a squad place.

There will be 20 or more forwards we could sign on loan from Premier League clubs that would offer more in my opinion
