Arter. Unlikely to stay at Bournemouth?

Would be worth having back at the right price.

Can't see him coming here. Fulham were sniffing around him (Scott Parker is also his brother-in-law). If they can afford the likes of Mitrovic and Knockaert, then wages shouldn't be a problem.

Not sure I follow your logic there

He was talking about Fulham a few days after leaving Cardiff, but I still half expect a good surprise

Not for me. We are lacking creativity not running around tackling.
Never really worked out for us

He's got 2 years left on his current contract at £40,000 per week.

I'd take Arter over Ralls in that role anyday.

I'd love him back, but I can't see it happening.

He strikes me as the type of person who wants to play games, not just sit around and pick up wages in the bench.....

I can't believe that anyone doesn't appreciate what a class act the guy is. He'd be worth any money but I don't think he wants to come back. There's a tragic back story ,his wife wants to stay in London and the manager there is her brother.

Just that Fulham would seem a likely destination for him......

    I 100% agree

I would say there is a very, very slight chance of Arter coming back here, but Fulham has to be the most likely destination for him if he is thinking of stepping down to the Championship. As for needing more creativity, I'm not going to argue with that, but I would say that another Arter type newcomer is a lot more likely under this manager.

    Replace Gunnar?

Wasn't there talk of him going to Sheffield United?

So would I but is that one of our priorities ?
Personally I would only have Ralls as a bench player. There are one or two currently in the squad that would be better suited.
We must focus on a quality striker.

I was very disappointed with Arter last season and he wasn't the player I thought I remembered at Bournemouth. He just charged around like a headless chicken all over the place usually out of position. We could pick up 10 Harry Arter for the cost of the original

I think, from memory, that arter was the most accurate passer on the side, as well as being the most two footed player in the league

100%. We've got Vaulks, Ralls and Bacuna who can all get about. I'd love for us to sign someone who can put their foot on the bloody thing and pass it a bit. Problem is, they cost quite a bit if you want them to be able to defend as well .

We are lacking all of the above. Arter would be an improvement on what we have in that role.

Anyone know why he decided he didn't want to play at Old Trafford?

    He was injured.

Re Divine Wright, can you pin point when Arter made a telling pass this season? I've got the one for Camarasa vs Leicester but that's about it. He's not a playmaker, he's not a goalscorer, he's not a defensive mid. Our entire midfield options are the same as him as well.

Ralls has been our best player this season and Arter made himself look a tit. You're welcome to him Fulham. I enjoyed his wayward shot and indiscipline last night.
