I am not sure I have ever seen someone get so butthurt about nothing.

I'm not butthurt, far from it. I just want a clarification of the rules. If people want to feck about, then that is my speciality!

I don't think you should over estimate the effect. I'm still living my life quite fully - in fact I'm still slapping ronseal on the fences at this time of night in between sitting down to relieve the back pain every so often and playing with my iPad as an excuse to rest. Every time I look in here there's some tosser or another excersising their mad theories about me being someone else so I answer it.
It's all bollocks, but that's what we do on message boards isn't it - talk bollocks about nonsense.

    That's the fun, surely ?

I promise you that I've dealt with enough serious problems that I'm not that obsessed with what a little gang of people think about something which doesn't matter a toss in the real world, but as long as they want to keep doubling down on their daft theories I might as well keep repeating the truth. If nothing else ,they'll all be revealed as the stupid people they are when the truth eventually comes out.

How interesting that we both posted at the same time there - someone should do a flow chart on that.
Of course, it will be suggested that it was a deliberate ploy.

While you were Ronnie-sealing the fence, I was watching Ethan Amadu's debut for RB Leipzig. He did well considering he's only just landed and doesn't know anybody, or speak the lingo. This could be a good season for him if he can stake a claim for the CDM role, or at least be part of a rotation system. He looked quality, and was probably the youngest player on the field, so let's see what happens once he settles in. Hopefully the move is going to benefit Wales.

Good, I think they were only joking. If I think you talk bollocks I won't hesitate to tell you, this is something certain people on the forum struggle with.

It's starting to get a bit darkish so I'll probably leave it till tomorrow soon and settle into tonight's " Foyles War".
It was 42 degrees here at 2.30 am due to a " heat burst" and I was out in the garden with no shirt trying to cool off, and I haven't gotten over that yet.
I know bugger all about Amadu or whatever he's called , except that he needs a haircut.

I loved Foyles War, especially that simmering heat between Samantha ( gorgeously named Honeysuckle Weeks) and Foyle , classic drama series.

I've seen that series and somehow missed the simmering heat between Foyle and her. By the way, she was born in Cardiff.

That show gives an insight into the rampant black market criminality during that span and the vast number of wildcat strikes. Coal miners really flexed their unionised muscle to hugely increase their wages and working conditions too to some extent. I was unaware of the existence of funk holes to sit out the conflict before viewing it.

I googled funk holes, and I ended up on pornhub!

I think it covers all that stuff, but I'm not sure whether that's the point, except that you can certainly tell that the writers hold some empathy with the whole " winds of change" thing. I'd view all that stuff differently myself but I don't in any way knock you for the way you enjoyed it - it's a great show!

Yes, I've seen it before of course, but I tend to like the fact that the characters speak normally and that there aren't endless p.c insertions which otherwise have nothing whatever to do with the script.
I also like the very accurate way he plays a senior police officer from that era, which is very accurate.

I'll tell you what really is good , Rowan Atkinson as Maigret. Unfortunately he only seems to make one a year, but I absolutely knew he'd be ideal for the part because he personally has all the intelligence , residual compassion and humanity of the character he's playing.

Hi everyone, new poster here and long time lurker after getting mightily fed up with all the right wing crazies who infest *****' board.

I just thought that, although I have no evidence to support my belief, I don't happen to think that Wales- Bales and Ronnie are one and the same. Their writing styles are very different though their opinions are amazingly similar. So I'm inclined to believe Ronnie in this instance. I'm sure he(or she) is the alter ego of a poster who called himself Sir Jimmy Scoular on *****' board and constantly spouted the same drivel there. I'm amazed he left there and migrated here because he has more of an intellectual challenge to face on this board whereas he and his mate Yaxley-Lennon were treated as super heroes over there.

My advice would be to eat less.

    Best regards,
