Their chairman clearly isn't Peter Ridsdale...

Buy 10k Season Tickets and we'll get a striker... Provided we sell our striker.

Almost out of the game for two years ,why renew his contract ,hes ten times better than our two?

If our medical staff can give him the OK then I'd have him in a heartbeat after all they made a good call with Patterson and this lad is technically better than we've had upfront for a while.

is he a player with something to prove ?
Does he fit into our way of playing?
Is it achievable to get him?
Is he a Warnock type of player?
Could Warnock get the best out of him?
Can he play at championship level?
    Is it worth a gamble?

Y (If Palace want to sell - but I doubt it extremely
Y (Well he's a footballer and Warnock appears to like footballers)

Will he come - I extremely doubt it
They've lost Batshuayi are about to lose Zaha and are therefore relying on Benteke who has hardly been prolific for them and a donkey called Sorloth (who they paid £9m for)

Selling Wickham to a lower league club is not good business unless they have a few players coming in which I doubt until Zaha is gone

I don't think there's anything in this and still hope we are after Kodjia

The link I have seen on twitter seems to be a student of sports journalism only. Not that that means he can't have a scoop but it would be surprising.

Personally I’ll judge on what I’ve seen and he’s a real handful.

If he’s fit he could be excellent for us.
Excellent in the air, strong and technically very good.
He was no mug on the ground when he was playing regularly either.

    It’s a massive’IF’ though.

As an option he’d be a good signing as long as he wasn’t too expensive and we also got another less risky one in too

He's the next big thing, he just hasn't arrived yet.

Always looks a threat every time he played against us. If he can stay fit I’d have him here, but it is a big, big if

Since when do football clubs give a crap about placating the fans!

I totally get your point but they’d be even further in the mire with the fans if Zaha leaves, Wickham leaves and they get stuck with Benteke and Sorloth upfront.

    True Connor Wickham story.
I found a pair of his unused personalised match day boots in a charity shop in New Mills in the Peak District exactly 2 years ago. They were from his Sunderland days.
I'm not ashamed to say I made healthy profit on eBay.

He was decent a few years ago and was a right handful.
As has been said, if he's injury prone leave well alone as he could be another Madine.
