Very dissapointing and not good enough.
Never thought I'd say that about a Cardiff City team even in adversity , but if we can't defend against Wigan we can't win this league.
On this performance we can expect mid table and a play off place at best.

A team which wins the league starts at the back and all the rest is a bonus so if we can't defend forget it

Could easily have been 4 (missed penalty).
Against a team that narrowly avoided relegation last season.
Only new face was Flint. All others have been laying together over a year at least

..if the penalty had gone in the whole game would have panned out differently .

The midfield looks piss poor on paper.
On the field it looks even worse.
I said we'd struggle in this league.
We need to midfield players a striker and a keeper

A Keeper, we already have 3?? The problem wasn’t the midfield or attack today, we scored 2 goals away from home? The problem was our defence especially having two very similar centre backs both good in the air but lack pace and who both like to play on the right, Morrison switching to the left for this game was left exposed on two occasions?

There is no point to stand...if you're going there! the defense let in 69 goals last season and would have been a dozen more if not for Etheridge.

My opinion is that there's been a lack of quality in the side. Lets hope some of the new boys have some.
