Shouldn’t Smithies be in the starting line up now. More experienced at this level than Day.

Yes, I believe he should be, but I was always a bit suspicious about that injury which was supposed to be keeping Smithies out for so much of the second half of last season and, given what has happened during pre season, I wouldn't be surprised to still see Smithies move on and, perhaps a loan keeper brought in.
