    Left side/striker

    Yes, I believe so.

I'd be surprised, and disappointed, if we sign him and Vassell - surely it should be one or the other?

Hopefully, something will happen to prove me wrong, but, for now, it seems that, just as happened last year when we so needed a striker, the club are hoping that a lot of activity and speculation in other areas will mask the fact that hardly anything is being done in the position where our need is most urgent.

If Reid goes, maybe we need both. Not sure why we'd sell him though, would be a huge mistake when thinking about the long term.

    Re: Alimami Gory

I believe both are coming in (Gory and Vassell). Both can play as striker or out wide - typical warnock type players (capable of slotting in to a couple of positions on the field of play) and possibly points to Reid and/or Tomlin on their way out?

    Re: Alimami Gory

Great, have we ever had any joy with these relatively cheap foreign strikers we bring in - Velikjona, Redan, Glombard, Macheda, Fred Guongbe, Cornelius ( though he wasn't cheap), Gestede ( he was okay in relative terms to the rest - there must be others to add to this sorry list. I suppose Zohore was the most successful and that's saying something! We've already gambled on a German league 2 striker, surely one gamble on an unknown quantity up front is enough for one transfer window

If these 2 come in that's 3 new strikers including Glatzel. So a few departures today I'm sure. Points to two out of Ward, Madine and Bogle leaving today. I would keep Bogle.

Maybe so but players can still go to League 1 after today.

    How much is €2.25 mil?

Just over £2mil perhaps? I can't keep up with exchange rates these days.

    Re: Alimami Gory

I keep them all, and play all of them in one go , just like jumpers for goalposts childhood days , when it was 40 - 50 after 8 hours of footy ,20 a side , and goalie when needed
